What is oleotourism?
Like wine tastings at vineyards, olive oil tours give you a chance to explore beautiful groves, learn about milling and production, and discover more about local gastronomy. You'll also get to meet some inspiring people who make this most important of ingredients—all while supporting farmers and the rural economy.
Lena does year-round walks through her family's olive groves, but in the summer, they host a sunset dinner on the farm where you can watch the stars come out surrounded by their beautiful trees.

A very engaging and charismatic educator, sit around a covered table overlooking Marianna's groves and the rolling hills of grapes and olives.

Alexis Kerner is a respected international olive oil judge. As a certified Expert Olive Oil Taster, she hosts private workshops where participants learn all there is to know about the product and how to taste it. The tasting includes three high quality Spanish olive oils and is finished with pairings and wine.

Great for families and people of all ages, Marije also allows campervans to book a night on the groves.

Not only is Christina a regenerative olive farmer, she's also a certified hiking instructor. Taste EVOO from her trees, go for a hike in the rugged terrain, and soak up the ancient history of Crete with a friendly and knowledgeable expert (who's fluent in multiple languages).
Extra: Want something more chill? She'll also do EVOO with local wine and mezze on her groves.
Take a tour with Francesca on her family's groves, not far from Syracuse. Combine with colourful lemon groves to learn about the regions two iconic ingredients.
Extra: Try the "pani cunzato experience” to learn a simple Sicilian recipe with extra virgin olive oil.
Another tasting by our farmers and friend, Marije! For this one, she's partnered up with regenerative herb farmers for a tasting and of 4 Portuguese regions.

Johnny Madge one of the most known experts in the industry and the creator of the #DontDrizzlePour hashtag. His tours are proper excursions, taking you to multiple groves and pairing food with different styles of oils.
Extra: Based in Valencia, he also does group tours in Italy, having lived there for decades and has an intimate knowledge of the country's best EVOOs.
