South African Extra Rare

From Breede River Valley

Our first southern hemisphere EVOO; high on the bitter scale, intensely peppery, and packed with aromatic flavours.

The olive oils in our extra rare range are all early harvest, produced in limited quantities, and are rarely tasted outside their native regions. We source them from producers pushing the boundaries of flavour and nutrition.

This is the newest oil in our range, and our first from the southern hemisphere. It's high in polyphenols and packed with flavour.

I joined the Club! So glad i did

My first Oil received was the Breed valley south african EVOO. OMG! It’s like liquid gold! The colour is beautiful. The flavour superb! I found it to be light and fruity and not a heavy oil at all ( as its official description said, although we all have our own palates). We used it simply with an aged stone baked Soda and olive bread. Shared it with a friend who demolished it , gluttonously gleeful. So very well met. Thank-you for introducing us to citizens of soil with such an amazing EVOO straight off the bat! Soooo looking forward to my next delivery

Welcome to the Club, Victoria! Brenda and Nick are true artisans, and we're so lucky to be able to showcase their delicious oil in the UK. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on your next Club oil.

The Perfect Oil

Impossible not to like this magnificent EVOO. If I was choosing a 5L olive oil to be my 'go to' olive oil, this would be it.

Thanks, Allister! We completely agree. Brenda and Nick are true craftsmen.
