About Citizens of Soil:

At Citizens of Soil, we’re creating the UK’s favourite brand of olive oil; a show-stopping brand for modern citizens who care about quality, transparency, and sustainability.

We’re changing the olive oil industry for good by sourcing directly from small-scale producers who practice regenerative farming, and by championing the remarkable women who make our award-winning oils.

Our transparent supply chain means we can trace where every drop comes from and that fair pay is established from the beginning.

Citizens of Soil is a B Corp and a 1% for the Planet member, with one percent of every sale goes toward soil regeneration projects. We’re also the first olive oil brand with refill pouches and a subscription—taking back the packaging to close the loop.

With a cult following, our small-batch oils are favoured by Michelin-starred chefs in some of London’s top restaurants and stocked in premium outlets like Selfridges, Fortnum & Mason, and Waitrose.

Together we’re turning a commodity into a community.

We didn’t really know what to expect or what we were getting into.... But nevertheless, we t...

Why is olive oil so expensive right now? Producers weigh in…

The whole olive oil industry is in flux this year, with soaring prices, global shortages, and an ever-increasing demand for the good stuff. She was fighting back tears. We’d had chats throughout the season and we were aware the harvest would be do...
